U15A Coaching Announcement
The BGHC is pleased to announce Samantha Burton as coach of its 2025-26 U15A Team.
Samantha joins the BGHC for her second season as a head coach. While she’s new to Ontario, her hockey career spans the course of 26 years playing in 3 provinces from U7 to University. Samantha’s coaching career began at age 18 when she was asked to lead a U15 AAA girls team in BC to their provincial championship. 15+ years of coaching and mentoring young girls has inspired Samantha to continue being the strongest leader for female athletes. Samantha’s coaching philosophy respects the invaluable foundation that must be built between player and coach: “In order to build her as a player, I must first understand her as a girl.”
