caitlin-gilligan.jpgAfter starting out as a figure skater, Caitlin switched to hockey at 8 years old and never looked back. She grew up playing defence for the Barracudas for most of her minor career and went on to play for Plattsburgh State University. During her time at Plattsburgh, Caitlin and her team won 3 consecutive NCAA National Championships and 4 ECAC titles.  After University, she ventured off to Europe where she continued her career playing for the ECDC Memmingen Indians (Germany) and the Gothenburgh Hockey Club (Sweden) in the SDHL.  Since returning home, Caitlin has been playing SR. AA for the Oakville Hornets. 

For the last several years, Caitlin has been the head female instructor at Centre Ice Training Academy working with girls of all ages and calibers.  
Caitlin focuses on shooting lessons, defensive positioning, small area skills and situational awareness. She loves sharing her passion with the next generation and helping young athletes achieve their goals.
