Goalies are FREE (including equipment)!!

Registration for the 2021-22 house league season will open in  September 2021.   Goalie registration is based on a first come, first play scenario.  In the event that goalie positions are over registered, returning goalies and Burlington residents will have first priority.   A completed registration requires payment, excluding goalies.  If payment is not received by the specified deadline, then the player will have to register during the late registration period at higher fees and will not be guaranteed a spot on a team.

** Goalies are expected to commit for the full season. If a goalie decides they no longer want to play in net they will be required to register with payment as a player for the remainder of the season.

Please consult the House League General Information page.

Please see our INITIATION PROGRAM page HERE.

The house league season will begin with a BTH "Back-to-Hockey" Mini-Tournament to get ALL of our players out on the ice.  This will take place on September 25th and September 26th.  This tournament also serves as our players evaluation process for the purposes of team-building, so please do your best to mark these dates and plan to attend.  Further details to come as we get closer to the dates.

Each hour will have 3 teams playing in a round robin event, with each team playing two, 15-minute games. The format of the games will be 5-on-5, but it will be the non-stop format you see in the 3-on-3 leagues with one minute shift changes on a buzzer.

You will receive an email assigning your daughter to a specific one-hour time slot within their division.

There is a box in the online registration to make a request for ONE friend for your daughter to be placed with during team building.  The BGHC will do everything we can to honour, but we cannot make guarantees. Our goal is to try and balance teams as best we can.

  1. Only reciprocal requests will be honoured.
  2. Requests must be made on registration form, please do not e-mail the BGHC office with your request.
  3. We do not accept requests for specific coaches, assistant coaches etc.  - only for players.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding on this matter.

You will be asked to respond "Yes" or "No" to this release during the registration process.

I agree to allow the Burlington Girls Hockey Club (BGHC) to take an image or receive photographs from the team manager.  The
BGHC may use or publish and otherwise reproduce and display the photograph for advertising, promotion, social media (i.e. Twitter, Facebook), or OWHA related media outlets, now or in the future.  The BGHC may use my daughter's first name, and/or age in connection with the photograph, but will not use my daughter's last name or address without parental permission. BGHC may also choose not to identify the player.   BGHC may use full names in tournament programs and OWHA related tournament materials.  I agree not to be paid for the photography, its use, or our participation.

REFUND POLICY – 2021-2022 Season

Once registered for House League and Rep teams, members have 24 hours to request a refund if they no longer wish to participate. For House League and the Rep program, there will be a $100 administrative fee per withdrawing player if a request is submitted within 24 hours of registration. No refunds will be administered after 24 hours from the time of registration unless the 2021-2022 season ends prematurely.

In the event the 2021-2022 season ends prematurely or is significantly disrupted by cancellations due to Covid restrictions, the Board of Directors will evaluate and approve appropriate refunds for both House League and Representative. Costs incurred by the organization up to the cancellation of the 2021-2022 season will be taken into consideration when determining refund amounts.

Due to the uncertainty pertaining to provincial and municipal Covid-19 restriction changes, the BGHC is only accepting credit card payments for all registrations. This will allow us to issue refunds in an expedited manner in the event Return to Hockey ends prematurely. Payments will be made through the RAMP registration system.

Should a division fill to capacity, we will begin a waiting list.  If you are unable to register because the division is full, please email [email protected] to reserve your spot on the waiting list.
