The BGHC is pleased to announce that Mike Tarantino has been appointed to run the BGHC's developmental programs: Fundamentals 1 and 2. Mike is a highly qualified coach with years of experience. Mike Tarantino is a highly decorated coach and manager with a strong foundation in high-level hockey, currently serving as the General Manager for the Collingwood Blues in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL). His playing career includes time as an NCAA All-American at Rochester Institute of Technology where he served as captain. Transitioning to coaching and management, he was named the OJHL Executive of the Year in 2014 with the Toronto Patriots and the OJHL Coach of the Year in 2019 with the Oakville Blades. A long-time figure in youth hockey, Mike has also been a dedicated coach within the BGHC, guiding various U9 teams and helping numerous players advance to the OHL, NCAA, and USports levels.
