She played NCAA Division I hockey with the Boston University Terriers from 2005 to 2009 on a full athletic scholarship. During her freshman season, she made an immediate impact, earning selections to both the Hockey East All-Rookie Team and the Hockey East All-Star Team in 2006.

While at Boston University, she was also a carded member of the Canadian National Under-22 Program, participating in Developmental and Player Evaluation Camps from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, she represented Canada at the Air Canada Cup, helping the team capture the gold medal.

Following her collegiate career, she continued to compete at the professional level overseas, playing for the ZSC Lions in Zurich, Switzerland, in the Swiss Women’s Hockey ‘A’ League. Her international and professional experience further solidified her reputation as a skilled and respected player with a deep understanding of the game. 

Amanda is now a career firefighter and remains closely connected to the game, coaching her young children and fostering their love for hockey. She is passionate about helping young female athletes achieve their post-secondary hockey and academic goals.
