HEAD COACH
for the
2024/25 Season
I have been playing hockey since I was 4 years old in Newfoundland. At 12 I moved to northern British Columbia to continue playing up until Midget, playing rep, high school and men's hockey all the way through until today, 40+ years later.
As a coach the past 7 seasons and being at many levels over the years, I feel the most important thing is for the girls to have fun. I'm a firm believer that if you want the girls to return to the rink each day, week and year, then we must make it fun, all the while making them better hockey players without them even realizing it.
If I had to pinpoint some of my coaching strengths, they would be skating and player positioning. Having been lucky enough to work with several strong skating and development coaches over the decades has opened up many new techniques for me to pass along to your young hockey player. I'm open minded and always enjoy speaking to other coaches and learning something new each and every day.
