KEY DATES 2025-2026 SEASON
The following are tentative dates for planning purposes. Dates may vary once our final ice planning for the season is complete. Once the season begins, the only official schedule is the one posted on this website. Parents should regularly consult the Fundamentals Calendar once the season has started.
[NOTE: cancellations due to weather or arena issues are beyond our control; sessions canclled for these reasons can only be rescheduled if ice is available]
- May 6, 2025 - U7 registration opens
- Friday September 19, 2025 - Fundamentals 1 equipment pick up @ Mainway Recreation Centre (watch for email)
- Thursday October 16, 2025 - first skate for Fundamentals 2 is 5-6:30 PM at Appleby 3 (watch for email for assigned time)
- Sunday October 19, 2025 - first skate for Fundamentals 1 (9:30 AM - 11 AM) and second skate for Fundamentals 2 (8 AM - 9:30 AM) at Mountainside (watch for email for assigned time)
- Monday December 22nd, 2025 through Saturday January 3, 2026 - Christmas Break - no sessions.
- Sunday January 4, 2026 - Season resumes with skates for both IP1 and IP2 at Appleby 3.
- Sunday March 8, 2026 - final regular season skate for Fundamentals 1
- Thursday March 12, 2026 - final regular season skate for Fundamentals 2
- March 28, 2026 - culminating on-ice activity for all Fundamentals participants as part of the BGHC House League Championship weekend
