The Jr Cudas (U22AA) are happy to announce
Kevin has his Masters in Sports Administration, is High Performance Certified and has earned the designation of Chartered Professional Coach with the Coaching Association of Canada.
Kevin has more than 30 years of experience coaching men and women’s hockey and returns to the BGHC after being an assistant coach in women’s professional hockey, winning the Isobel Cup Championship with the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation.
Kevin has coached in the Barracuda organization for 16 years leading teams to numerous provincial championships, league championships and showcase tournament championships. Kevin has worked collaboratively with the club and fellow coaches and staff to enhance the Burlington Junior program and as a result the Junior program has consistently supported many players in reaching their goals of being USports, NCAA, Team Ontario, and Team Canada players.
Each year Kevin and the team staff create a comprehensive Junior program within a collaborative and progressive environment that provides athletes the skills, tactics, knowledge, and mental aptitude to excel in competitive sports. He instills a growth mindset in athletes, so they have the confidence to push themselves outside their comfort zone in order to surpass their expectations.
