UPDATE from Hockey Canada - INSURANCE
The Hockey Canada Insurance Program is in place to cover Hockey Canada/Member participants and volunteers during Hockey Canada sanctioned hockey programming. With the cancelling of
the 2019-2020 hockey season it is important to note that there
is no coverage in place for any hockey related activity hosted after March 12th, 2020.
Hockey Canada realizes that some administration of the game will continue,
however, only certain coverages will apply to these and they have certain restriction
s that apply.
Please contact your Member prior to moving ahead with any administrative related activity.
Additionally, it is important for participants to be aware that if they do hockey activity outside of Hockey Canada/Member sanctioned programming such as private spring hockey, private hockey camps or private leagues THEY ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THE HOCKEY CANADA INSURANCE PROGRAM.
