BGHC Return to Modified Game Play
On November 3, 2020, Ontario released its COVID-19 Response Framework to Help Keep the Province Safe and Open. Please read the statement from Dr. Hamidah Meghani, Halton Region Medical Officer of Health, in response to the new Framework and impacts on current recommendations in Halton.
With the Medical Officer's support, beginning this Saturday, November 7th games and scrimmages will be permitted to resume. Note that all game play must continue to follow the OWHA Modified Play ( 4v4 / 3v3 format) - OWHA Modified Game Play - Sept 25th to ensure there is no physical contact and no more than 50 people per cohort.
Our organization must continue to abide by all Covid-19 Protocols and Regulations. No changes have been made to the facility regulations, mask requirements, distancing protocols, contact tracing requirements, or facility access numbers. To review all processes please refer to the BGHC Health and Safety page on our website.
The City of Burlington will continue to monitor what occurs in the facilities and advise of any unpermitted activity. If the regulations are not followed ice time may be suspended as a result. Let's work together to keep our #CudasNation playing!
There are still a number of items that need to be clarified in the new provincial framework and we will continue to update you as things progress. We ask for your patience and support as we readjust to these revised regulations and do our best to have a smooth transition back to game play for this Saturday.
Sincerely,
The BGHC Board of Directors
