Midget AA (Kevin Greco), 2018-2019, Rep (Barracudas - Burlington Girls Hockey Club)

On February 24, 2019, an elite U16 team from Ontario will be participating in a three game series against Team Japan U16 in Yokohama, Japan. Three players from the Burlington Barracudas Midget AA team have been invited to participate including: Christina Walker, Olivia Muhn, and Leah MacSween.  Congratulations and good luck to Christina Walker and Olivia Muhn who accepted and will be representing Canada in this exciting opportunity of a lifetime.  GO CUDAS!

The Barracudas Midget AA team celebrated the holidays this year as Champions at the Toronto Aeros Holiday Classic Tournament held on January 4-6, 2019.   The ladies had an impressive record throughout the tournament with a 6-0 record. They managed to score 21 goals over the weekend while only allowing 8 goals.   Only after a 5 minutes of overtime in the final game vs Sudbury, would the game be decided on the 3rd and final penalty shot scored by Christina Walker who earned the MVP. Congratulations to Coach Kevin Greco and all of the players and coaching staff on their victory.  

Hamilton, ON, September 9, 2018. This past weekend, 64 Midget AA teams from across North America came together to compete in the annual Stoney Creek Girls Hockey Association Midget AA Showcase Tournament held over three days in Hamilton, ON. The U18 all-girls event is hosted each year in the Fall to showcase the best of the best in girls hockey and to crown a champion. Teams from Dallas, TX, Anahaim, CA and elsewhere in the United States and across Canada brought in their top talent and the Burlington Girls Hockey Club (Barracudas) showed up ready to compete.
