Goalie Summer Camp 2023
Excited to announce that EJ Milne-Price will be leading and executing a development camp for all Rep and House League Barracuda goalies this summer. The camp will run from August 21st to the 25th, 8am-2pm out of Appleby Ice Center. The goalies will be split up by age and skill level to ensure a high level of competition throughout the week. The camp will focus on several different areas of the game. Technical skating; learning how to become a more powerful and efficient goalie. Hands/Tracking drills to learn how to properly fill space in the net, and become consistent directing rebounds into the corner. There will also be off-ice strength and conditioning sessions to learn how to train like a pro, and how to properly prepare your body for the physical strain of being a goalie.
This camp will also serve as a baseline assessment for Barracuda goalies. After this week we will be able to build drills throughout the year that relate to their individual practice goals and make sure we identify strengths, weaknesses and where each goalie can improve.
