Sponsorship Opportunities with the Jr Cudas 2023/2024 

 

The Burlington Junior Barracudas U22AA – Elite Women’s Hockey Team is proud to announce they are looking for sponsorship opportunities this 2023/2024 season with local business and community partners. In exchange for your sponsorship, we have a variety of opportunities to advertise your business through our extensive multimedia channels and physical presence at Mainway Arena in Burlington, ON. 

The team will compete in over 70 games during their season with the inclusion of showcase tournaments across Ontario and the United States during the 2023/24 hockey season. This past 2022/2023 season, the team was ranked 1st in the Ontario West Division, earned multiple medals at tournaments in Canada and the United States, and won the Bronze Medal at the 2023 OWHA Provincial Championships. 

Everyone, including coaches, staff, parents, and players put thousands of hours into running the team. The average cost per player, per season is $10,000 – expenses included practice ice, dryland training, referee/officials’ fees, equipment, tournament entry, skill development clinics, travel, etc. This is where our wonderful and much appreciated sponsorship partners play a large role, would you like to join our team and make an impact in Women’s Hockey?

Package 1: “The Assist” – Sponsor Price: $750 - $1250 

 

In hockey, the assist is one of the most crucial components of a play, especially when you want to score! Our “The Assist” package is a compact offering for businesses and community members to be part of the vital operation of our team, while also benefitting from our multi-media presence and crowd attendance during home games. 

What we offer you: 

1. Rotational Advertising (15-20% exposure) 

We will include your business or group logo on Game Day Posts and Final Score Posts. There are 42 games in the 2023/2024 regular season, this means your logo would appear on 6 to 8 posts throughout the entire season. 

    2.  Optional Coupon 

If your company, business, or community offers a good or service which you would like to create an offer code or coupon for, the Jr Cudas will advertise and hand out physical copies during 2 to 4 of our home games during the 2023/2024 season. 

The codes or coupons must be redeemable during the 2023/2024 hockey season with a minimum discount of 10% off a good or service that can be provided to our fans, families, players, and staff.2 

Package 2: “The Shut Out” – Sponsor Price: $1,500 - $2250 

 

Goalies are the backbone of the team when under fire from the opposition, successfully stopping the other team from scoring during the entire game. Engage in “The Shut Out” package and be the star goalie of our team! This package offers an additional multi-media element of livestreaming along with all the benefits from our multi-media presence and physical crowds during home games. And you can choose any ONE live streaming element for 100% home game coverage. 

What we offer you:

 

1. Rotational Advertising (15-20% exposure) 

We will include your business or group logo on Game Day Posts and Final Score Posts. There are 42 games in the 2023/2024 season, this means your logo would appear on 6 to 8 posts throughout the entire season. 

Your business or group logo will also be included on Player Birthday Posts, Post-Secondary Commitment Posts, and Special Celebration Posts. There is no guarantee how many of these posts will be created and published, however, any publication of one of these posts will include your logo for up to 3 posts. 

 

    2.  Livestreaming Element (100% exposure home games only) 

Choose ONE of the following to sponsor during every livestreamed home game of the season! Your company or business name, logo, and slogan will be announced and displayed for any of the following: 

 

1. Starting Line-up 
2. Home Team Goals 
3. Penalties 
4. Powerplays 
5. Periods – all 3 
6. Last minute of play – all 3

One of the most notable plays in all of Canadian Hockey, Marie-Philip Poulin scores the game-tying goal AND the winning goal in overtime against the USA at the 2014 Sochi Olympic games. Be our ‘Captain Clutch’ and bring the team to victory with “The Golden Goal” of your own. This package offers an additional multi-media element of livestreaming along with all the benefits from our multi-media presence and physical crowds during home games. You will have the opportunity to sponsor any ONE of the Co-Media series. You will be included in additional tournament posting with guaranteed advertising. And you can choose any TWO live streaming elements for 100% home game coverage. 

What we offer you:

    2.  Additional Tournament Posting 

We will include your business or group logo on our Weekend Schedule, Game Day Posts, and Final Score Posts for the Tournaments our team attends during the 2023/2024 season. These include: US/Canada Cup – Detroit, US/Canada Cup – Kitchener, U22 Elite Championship Weekend, and the OWHA Provincials. This is a guarantee of one (1) post per weekend, depending on the team’s performance (quarter-finals, semi-finals, finals). 

 

    3.  Livestreaming Element (100% exposure home games only) 

Choose TWO of the following to sponsor during every livestreamed home game of the season! Your company or business name and logo will be broadcasted and displayed for any of the following:

    4.  Co-Media Series ANY 1 of the following:

 

1. Game Highlights (21 highlights – 2 minutes to 15 minutes long each) Choose to be the home or away game sponsor 
2. Cuda 2 Cuda Youtube Series (3-episode limit [7 total episodes] – 3 to 5 minutes long each) 
3. Coach’s Press Conference (twice a month starting October – March – approx. 5 minutes each) 
4. Cuda Chronicles Podcast (twice a month starting end of Sept – April – appox. 30 minutes each)

For this achievement you have access to the winners’ corner and your company or business will be advertised across our extensive Jr Cuda network. 

 

This package offers an additional multi-media element of livestreaming along with all the benefits from our multi-media presence and physical crowds during home games. Your business will be the Exclusive Special Event Game Sponsor of any TWO of our large home games. You will have the opportunity to sponsor any TWO of the Co-Media series. You will be included in additional tournament posting with guaranteed advertising. And you can choose any THREE live streaming elements for 100% home game coverage.
