U11AA Head Coach - Taylor Woods - [email protected]
Born in Manitoba, Taylor won an Esso Cup with the Notre Dame Hounds and a gold medal with Team Canada’s U18 team in 2012. She played four years at Cornell University in the NCAA and continued her playing career in the CWHL before spending her final three seasons with the Toronto Six in the PHF. Currently, Taylor is a performance coach and strength and conditioning expert with a diverse background in sports psychology and player development. She holds a Master’s in Sports and Fitness Psychology from Setanta College in Dublin, where her research focused on mental health integration in hockey and athlete confidence-building, and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Cornell University, where she studied team cohesion in sports. A certified strength and conditioning coach, Taylor also holds certifications in youth fitness, sports nutrition, and safe sport practices. She is currently an Assistant Coach for the U18AA High Performance Team for the Burlington Barracudas.
U15AA Head Coach - Lee Bishop - [email protected]
Lee is a passionate, hardworking, committed coach that is dedicated to the development of players and teams in all areas on and off the ice. He loves to coach, and will forever be a student of the game as he is constantly evolving, adapting and refining his own coaching techniques. As much time as he spends on the ice, he spends even more time off the ice staying current with hockey trends in player development, following trends in the direction of the game itself, discovering, learning and using technology as a valuable development and teaching tool and being accountable in maintaining his own personal development.
Lee has coached both boys and girls’ hockey at the highest level, and has won Provincial Championships along the way. Lee has been a U15 AA High Performance Head Coach for the last 3 years in Stoney Creek.
U13AA Head Coach - Dani Ellis - [email protected]
Dani is currently the U13AA Head Coach which is ranked #2 in the province. Dani will be returning to guide the U13AA Cudas once again for the 2025/26 season and has been a valuable asset to the BGHC since her arrival.
U18AA Head Coach - Justin Cloutier - [email protected]
Coach Justin is a firm believer in creating pathways for players to advance, Justin has committed to helping players get to the Jr level and beyond and is constantly making new relationships for more opportunities for his players. Coach Justin is a presence in our community both on and off the ice and we are excited to have him back for another season.

U9A
Chris Flindall - [email protected]
Chris is a product of Burlington Minor Hockey - from Paperweight (BLOMHA) to Bantam (Burlington City Rep - now the Burlington Eagles) where he played at both the AA and AAA levels. In High School Chris played Hockey at Notre Dame Secondary School. Chris is still very active in Recreational hockey and has been involved with the BGHC for the past 3 seasons at both the House League and Rep levels. Chris is also a teacher within the Halton Public School Board. Chris is very excited about taking on a head coaching position within the BGHC next season!
U11A

Traci is entering her 4th year of coaching in the BGHC. Traci has been the head coach of the U9A and B teams as well as an assistant coach for the U7 program. She enjoys sharing her passion for the game with young girls while being a positive female role model. Traci played with the Jr. Barracudas and then move on to play 4 years at RIT.

Piper is entering her third year with BGHC and her 7th year of coaching. Prior to coaching, Piper played competitive hockey for 17 years. Piper is passionate about growing girl's hockey, the love of the sport and is dedicated to creating an environment that promotes teamwork, learning, and the pleasure of both personal and team success.
U15A
Jay Rousseau - [email protected]
Coach Jay began his coaching career in 2014, and is now in his third year as the U15A Barracudas head coach. His focus is not only on player development but also on fostering growth, on and off the ice. As a multi-sport athlete, Coach Jay has gained valuable insights into a wide range of coaching methods. These methods enable him to adapt his approach to the individual needs of each player. He excels in working with diverse personalities and strives to help every athlete find their own strengths and role within the team.
Jay’s belief is simple yet powerful; by helping players understand and develop their unique potential, they can contribute to the team in meaningful ways, while reaching their fullest athletic ability.
U18A
Stan De Rango - [email protected]
Stan has been coaching in youth hockey for 30 years with both male and female hockey teams at all skills levels and age groups.
He has spent the last 3 seasons with the Oakville Hornets Organization as their U18 AA Head Coach where he has enjoyed a great deal of on-ice success. Prior to that he was with the Mississauga Girls Hockey League (MGHL) were he was part of both the Executive level and Elite Performance Programme, helping create and run player development for U13 / U15 AA teams.
Stan is a fierce competitor, and generates winning seasons through good teaching and inspiration.
